Passionate Mistletoe anyone?  We have some very yummy and festive cocktails that we found over at LCBO,  for you to add to your drink menu this year. Are you looking for a signature drink to impress your guest with this season? Look no further, these cocktails are so awesome they will even impress the Grinch!

So cheers, and ’tis the season for celebrating the season with stylish cocktails.

Here’s the recipes

Passionate Mistletoe – A surprisingly fresh yet festive cocktail that is a great party starter.

1 oz Vodka

2 frozen (thawed) strawberries

1/2 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

2 oz passionfruit juice

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1 oz  Vodka, 2 frozen (thawed) strawberries, 1/2 oz lemon juice, 1/2 oz simple syrup and 2 oz passionfruit juice. Shake sharply and strain into a martini glass.

Garnish with a strawberry slice and a mint sprig.

Havana Holiday – A holiday in a glass? or a rich cocktail full of festive spice.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add 1½ oz. Havana Club Anejo rum, 4 oz. eggnog and a pinch of allspice. Shake and strain into a glass rimmed with raw sugar and filled with ice. Garnish with a pinch of nutmeg.

The Cranberry-Ginger Sidecar – A pinch of this a dash of that and a splash of holiday cheer all in this festive cocktail.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add ½ tsp chopped fresh ginger, 10 fresh crushed cranberries, 1 oz. Cognac or brandy, 1 oz. Cointreau, 1 oz. simple syrup and 1 oz. lemon juice. Shake and strain into a martini glass rimmed with fresh lemon and sugar and garnish with a candied ginger slice.

A Kiss From Mother Earth – This sweet kiss is sure to warm the heart this holiday season.

2 oz. 360 Double Chocolate Vodka

1 oz. Simple Syrup

3 oz. Cream

Drizzle chocolate syrup in glass. Pour all the ingredients into the shaker and shake. Strain it into a martini glass, and garnish with chocolate sticks.
