It’s January, the holiday season is a thing of the past, not only have we closed the chapter on 2019, but we have also closed the books on another decade, where does the time go? The winter season is in full effect. We are in a new decade, the roaring ’20s which and I am super excited about!
I know some of you are saying, “Wait, what, no way” to winter because you get the winter blues, cabin fever and you can’t wait for spring to arrive so you can get out of the house. I get it, but I enjoy winter, it’s one of my favorite seasons and for me (and others) when winter arrives and the holiday season is over, it’s time to hibernate.
It’s time to pull out fluffy blankets and unpack the soft and cozy sweaters. During the winter, my home is the perfect winter retreat. It becomes a place where I can relax and recharge. It’s the perfect place to revitalize and feed your mind, body, and spirit. For this season, The Posh Guide has plenty of inspiration to help you prepare for a comfy winter season. We’ll share simple ideas for winter entertaining (think fireside chats and cocktails), great tips on how to stay healthy during the winter months, this is not easily achieved during the time of year when everyone is sick, we will also share some of our favorite must-haves for the season, and of course, we will serve up delicious comfort food recipes, what could be more satisfying than taking the time to make warm and delicious meals that nourish the hearts and souls of your loved ones.
So, take a step back, exhale and embrace the season. Give winter a chance, I promise you won’t regret it.
