Cooking Inspiration : Fourth of July Berrylicious Layered Salad

This is a great fruit salad to add to your Fourth of July menu and also to your summer entertaining menu. It’s a light, sweet and delicious berry fruit salad.

We made the salad with fresh watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries, (which allows you  to take advantage of summers bounty of fresh fruit), added in some granola to give it a crunch and whipped cream to hold it all together. It’s super easy to make and berrylicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cubed watermelon
  • 1 pint of strawberries
  • 1 pint of blueberries
  • 1 1/2 cups of granola
  • 1 1/2 cups of nondairy whipped topping thawed

Instructions

In each of the 8 glasses alternate layers of watermelon and berries  with granola and non diary whipped cream.
