Fabulous Fall Wedding Cakes
October 6| posted in - weddings

I love Fall weddings, there are such pretty colors to choose from and nature can be used as a backdrop as well as part of your cake decorations. I found these to die for cakes over at In Style Weddings and wanted to give some of my brides that are planning Fall weddings some wedding cake inspiration. The cake above was created by Take the Cake a bakery in Chicago, Illinois. The cake has four round tiers covered in white chocolate and chocolate fondant with handpainted fondant overlays, I think it’s simply beautiful.

Buttercream Studio located in San Francisco, California produced the stunning fall inspired cakes (top left and bottom right). The cake on the top right consists of three oval tiers covered in fondant with sugar dough tree and leaves and the cake on the bottom right has four square tiers covered in ivory fondant with fondant cut-out leaves.
Jim Smeal, located in Charleston SC is the bakery that created the cake on the top right, it’s simply stated yet beautiful. It’s a moist sour-cream chocolate cake that’s brushed with orange-flavored liqueur and layered with ganache and a slightly chunky, bittersweet orange marmalade. A final glaze of shiny ganache is poured on top.
Fall in Love with the the sweet confection created by Colette Foley on the bottom left. The cake has sugar paste ferns, acorns and flower clusters bring a simple three-tier round cake back to nature. It’s a cake that has a fall woodland feel.

This gorgeous cake come from The Cake Studio in Powell, Ohio. It has three square tiers covered in Swiss meringue buttercream and accented with satin ribbon and fresh orange lilies, perfect…
Brides to be, hope this gave you inspiration.
